French Guiana Nukes

[edit]

Unless the tiny state of French Guiana has some of its parent countries nukes, this map is wrong. 72.33.0.176 (talk) 01:12, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's French, that is why. Slatersteven (talk) 09:55, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you provide a source we can't act on this. Slatersteven (talk) 15:06, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with table

[edit]

I'm not adept at tables, so I don't now how to fix these, but I have a few comments on possible improvements. I welcome reactions.

  • The table is in roughly chronological order of acquisition. I say roughly because Israel is out of place and probably should be treated differently from the others. I recommend keeping it in chronological order as the default, but sortable on other numerical columns.
  • The table is currently sortable on all columns. That doesn't really make sense, and produces nonsensical results for the date column (alphabetical order rather than chronological). There should be a way to include dates in a sortable format.
  • What to do about Israel, for which there is no reliable date -- or even acknowledged fact -- of acquisition? There's probably no perfect solution, but my suggestion would be to list it last and to change the entry in the date column to "unknown" or "N/A" with a footnote to the currently listed citations indicating possible dates.
